You Don’t Always Have to Say “Yes”
Promising to do this and do that can take a toll on you.
Practicing anti-anxiety techniques requires letting go of the need to say “yes” to every request a person asks of you. Individuals oft experience deep stress because they let their commitments to get a hold of their life. You don’t have to go through this sort of misguided motivation. One way to appraise if you are over committed may be to call off an engagement you’ve set. How would you feel if that were to materialize? Would you feel a sense of guilt? Over committed persons feel shamefaced if they tell a person “no” because they are tired. Spark your anti-anxiety strengths to grant yourself personal time to spend with your family.
